This month I received an extra bill of 12 euro on top of my normal bill. The invoice says it’s 12 euro for text messages. I have a data-only SIM card and can not send messages in any way! It just doesn’t work. I went to a MEO shop for help and they couldn’t find anything so said they would call me in a few days. This was two weeks ago and I have had no answer. How do I get these charges removed? It’s impossible I made them. I did not go over my data limit and did not leave Europe during the month and only visited Italy, Belgium and France. There should be no extra charges. Is there online support I can talk to? I can’t find a chat anywhere. Thank you.

 

Este mês recebi uma fatura extra de 12 euros para além da minha fatura normal. A fatura diz que são 12 euros para mensagens de texto. Tenho um cartão SIM só de dados e não consigo enviar mensagens de forma alguma! Fui a uma loja MEO pedir ajuda e não encontraram nada, por isso disseram que me ligariam dentro de alguns dias. Isto foi há duas semanas e não tive resposta. Como faço para remover estas cobranças? É impossível que os tenha feito. Não ultrapassei o meu limite de dados e não saí da Europa durante o mês. Existe suporte online com quem possa conversar? Não consigo encontrar um chat em lado nenhum. Obrigado.

Sorry but this is not a solution. I went to a MEO store, they didn’t help me. I made a request, it doesn’t get answered. Do they just hope I’ll give up and pay? There’s not even chat support..

@Lepertum The MEO store also cannot resolve these situations. That's why they said they would call you, since they didn't call you, you have to call because there is no other way to deal with the matter.
