Must I enter my PIN every time I boot my mobile? Can I disable this?

I got a new SIM last week and it seems that every time I reboot my phone (once a week for security purposes) I need to enter my PIN.

Is this normal and expected behavior?

Is there a way to disable this?

it’s normal, every sim card comes with pin code, the user has to disable it on settings

Google “how to disable pin code” for your phone (it’s diferent in iphone, android versions, etc)
