EN: Any way to encourage fiber expansion in our village?

Bom dia, first of all Sorry for English, my Portugues is still not good enough.

I live in Ericeira now and I have amazing fast fiber optic internet, but next month we are moving to our new house in village close to Serra in Tomar (Santarem) region. In this house we have only following options: Meo cable (10 - 20 Mbps) or 4g from NOS or MEO (~20Mbsp)

Obviously it's poor connection, but I wanted to ask something else.

I am member of a loit of Facebook groups for immigrants from England, Germany, Netherlands etc, and I know that a lot of people in this area want fiber connection, most of them use NOS 4g internet instead, some use MEO, but basically there's high demand, If I collect signatures from all people in the area to show to MEO that there's interest in fiber do you think it can speed up expansion of fiber connection in this area? Any other way to let companies know that there are people who are happy to pay 2x or 3x times more to get better connection?
