Access to fibre

I am CEO of a global professional organisation in medicine. I am considering the re-location of the main office to Portugal but this will be dependant upon access to a high speed fibre internet connection. At the moment, my proposed location in Portugal only has ADSL. The staff in the MEO shop in Caldas da Rain told me that fibre is available in the village and is very close. Could someone in MEO contact me to confirm when I will have access to a fibre connection?
